The AstraZeneca Nobel Medicine Initiative is a co-operation between AstraZeneca and Nobel Media.
The aim of the Initiative is to increase the general public's understanding of, and interest in the achievements of the Nobel Laureates within the fields of Physiology or Medicine and to further explain the benefits of the discoveries made.
The AstraZeneca Nobel Medicine Initiative is devoted to creating a diverse range of content, which explores the science and the stories behind the recipients of the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine. Content consists of three core elements:
AstraZeneca, in co-operation with Nobel Media and Nobel Web, will host lecture events at selected AstraZeneca research centres worldwide for AstraZeneca employees and members of our local communities.
Nobel Web will create, with the support of AstraZeneca, one interactive educational programme each year – the “Nobel Prize Narrative”.
Through broadcast documentaries Nobel Media will produce, with the support of AstraZeneca, one broadcast documentary per year on a topic related to the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine.
