Introduction and objectives of work

Bureau Veritas has been engaged by AstraZeneca to provide independent assurance over the Responsible Business (RB) activities reported in its Annual Report and performance against its Responsible Business Plan posted on this website. The objectives of our work are to inform AstraZeneca’s stakeholders whether the reported RB information is a reliable, transparent, balanced and objective account of AstraZeneca’s RB impacts and activities and covers the material risks to the business. The Annual Report and Responsible Business Plan (RBP) have been prepared by AstraZeneca management who are responsible for the collection and presentation of the information in it.
