Antibodies

AstraZeneca scientists use antibodies to help dissect molecular pathways to better understand disease mechanisms and the changes that occur as disease progresses. These antibody tools are generated within AstraZeneca using phage display technology. This is a fast, robust and flexible technology for the generation of synthetic human, rabbit, mouse and rat antibodies for use in a wide variety of settings.

The team is based at Alderley Park but has an extensive internal and external network of collaborators and contract research partners to ensure high quality validated antibody tools are available to use in our research to find new drugs
