Statistical Sciences

Data driven decisions form the basis of the progression of compounds through Discovery and into Development. The Discovery Statistics group provides expertise in the effective design of experimental work to deliver high quality data, and in the analysis and interpretation of experimental data to allow valid decision-making. We also ensure that experimental work is efficiently designed to deliver the maximal information using the least resources. This is achieved through close partnership with AstraZeneca scientists and external partners.
