As Head of IT for Drug Development and Digital Health, I lead a global technology team in implementing innovative solutions across clinical development, regulatory affairs, patient safety and R&D portfolio management.

I am a passionate technologist with broad experience across multiple industries, harnessing the power of digital to tackle previously untapped opportunities. In my opinion, there is nowhere more exciting than working at the intersection of technology and healthcare, with patients at the heart of everything we do. 

Since joining AstraZeneca in 2015, I have been at the forefront of digital transformation initiatives in Commercial and R&D. My focus is on applications of digital, data, and AI to accelerate the development of our medicines, and reimagine the patient experience in the clinic and real-world settings. 

Emphasizing agile methodologies and fit-for-future technologies enables us to lead in a digitally disrupted space. Our multi-year IT transformation has already established the foundation for our start-up, growth-oriented mindset where we are actively investing in key capabilities such as software and data engineering, data science and AI, technology strategists and architects.
