I am an Associate Transaction Director in the Business Development Operations team at AstraZeneca, focused on the negotiation and execution of licensing, partnering, M&A and divestment deals. I work primarily on late-stage and on-market assets across multiple therapy areas, including Oncology.

I also act as a Board Advisor to the Pharmaceutical Licensing Group, a networking group for the healthcare industry.

Prior to joining AstraZeneca, I spent most of my career working as in-house legal counsel within the banking and finance industry, most recently at Citibank, and subsequently within life sciences at Abcam. I have lived, studied and worked across the UK, France and the UAE. I hold an LLB (Hons) in Law with European Legal Studies from King’s College London, a Certificate in European law from the University of Strasbourg, a PGDip in Legal Practice from BPP Law School and an MPhil in Bioscience Enterprise from the University of Cambridge.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, writing, travelling to catch the sun, painting with acrylics and learning to play the saxophone. I am also privileged to spend much of my time learning from the unique world perspectives of my twin three-year old daughters.

AstraZeneca’s entrepreneurial and evidence-based culture encourages us to recognise where successful innovation may require collaborating or licensing. This approach enables us to push the boundaries of science by maximising the utility of our resources, ultimately increasing the benefit to patients.
