Our community involvement in Cambridge

We inspire the next generation of scientists, share our experience and knowledge, and give time to the community in Cambridge.

Supporting Cam Sight in 2019

Cam Sight works to enhance independence, improve wellbeing and improve inclusion, supporting local people of all ages with low vision and blindness to live the life they want. The important work of the charity supports almost 2,000 people across Cambridgeshire.

Over the next year, our aim is to raise awareness of the charity amongst our colleagues, along with providing our employees with plenty of opportunities to get involved with fundraising, volunteering and awareness raising initiatives and events to support the work of Cam Sight. Keep up to date with our activities with our 2019 gallery on our dedicated microsite: https://azmedicamcoy.co.uk/

The Energy Challenge

In the Academic Year 2018-19, we are setting Year 5 and 6 pupils across Cambridgeshire the challenge of weighing and analysing foodstuffs, learning about energy and exercise, and producing posters with their findings.

Partnering with the Cambridge Judge Business School

We work with the Cambridge Judge Business School and other local partners to develop and inspire graduates and entrepreneurs in the life sciences and technology industry.

Volunteering in Cambridge

In 2017 we are spending over 1500 hours volunteering in the fields of STEM education and business mentoring, and also through our community iVolunteer programme.
