Reginald Seeto formed MedImmune’s Partnering and Strategy group in 2013, which oversees early stage biologics business development activities (including licensing, co-development, joint ventures and out-licensing), strategic collaborations with government, universities and non-profits, biologics strategies and US government contracting. He is part of MedImmune’s leadership team.
Reginald originally joined MedImmune as Vice-President of Global Strategic Marketing and Portfolio Management where he worked closely with the R&D leadership team. He was later promoted to MedImmune’s executive team, as EVP of the Corporate Development and Strategy Group.
From 2011 to 2012, Reginald was on an expatriate assignment as the President of AstraZeneca Thailand, where he was the first MedImmune executive to participate in a talent exchange and development program with AstraZeneca. Under his leadership, Thailand achieved its sales targets for the first time in five years and was awarded the RVP Award for Leadership for management of the country’s worst floods in more than half a century.
Prior to joining MedImmune in 2008, Reginald was VP Global Marketing for Schering Plough/Organon Biosciences and Executive Director of US Marketing for Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals. He started his career as a medical doctor involved in both clinical practice and research, where he published first author publications in peer reviewed journals.
