Launched in February 2026, A.Catalyst Network |Thailand serves as a global health innovation hub, bringing together academia, public and private sector partners, patient networks, and innovators to co-create and scale safe, evidence-based AI and digital health solutions that support more sustainable healthcare.

By aligning with policy priorities and recognised standards, the hub seeks to generate real-world evidence that can help expand access and improve outcomes. In Thailand, the hub aims to support two prioritised AI projects annually, guided by the endorsement and expertise of distinguished advisors.

Lung Ambition Alliance: Through partnership with government and private sector stakeholders, this initiative reached its milestone of 1 million AI-enabled scans for early lung cancer detection in May 2026, reflecting a shared commitment to improving early detection and helping eliminate lung cancer as a cause of death.

In collaboration with the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand, the Social Security Office, the Department of Labour Protection and Welfare, as well as SCG and GC, AstraZeneca led the Health and Well-being Enhancement Program for Workers in Industrial Estates to advance early lung cancer detection through AI-enabled chest X-ray screening.

The programme findings indicate that lung cancer may extend beyond traditional risk groups and underscore the value of early detection in enabling a stage shift, increasing the potential for curative treatment, and improving outcomes.

Launched in May 2026, Thailand National Hypertension (HTN) Alliance is a public-private partnership, led by AstraZeneca, to help address hypertension, a major public health challenge that affects millions of people in Thailand and remains uncontrolled in many patients.

To support this ambition, the National HTN Dashboard has been introduced to enhance the monitoring of patient screening, treatment, and ongoing care.

Thailand’s first Lung Health Policy Forum marks an important step in elevating lung health on the national policy agenda. Bringing together leaders from government, academia, healthcare, patient organizations, civil society, media, and industry, the forum highlighted the power of cross-sector collaboration to advance prevention, early detection, and equitable access to innovative treatments for lung cancer, asthma, and COPD across Thailand.

AstraZeneca Thailand has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the National Cancer Institute of Thailand, reinforcing a shared commitment to advancing cancer care in Thailand.

Under this collaboration, both organisations will work together across three priority areas: enhancing early detection through innovative screening technologies, broadening access to innovative treatment options, and strengthening research capabilities in support of world-class cancer care.
