On Monday 18 September 2023, all Externally Sponsored Research studies (ESRs) will migrate from Evidence Connect to Veeva Clinical Vault (VCV). Access to Evidence Connect will become read-only from Thursday 31 August to enable this migration.

Evidence Connect Training Centre
Evidence Connect is the AstraZeneca system for the submission and processing of externally sponsored scientific research applications.
This platform has been designed to offer investigators a fast, user-friendly and secure way to submit and track applications. On this page you can find more information about how it works as well as details of who to contact for support.

Non clinical submission
Non-clinical research involving compounds across all Disease Areas and phases of development. This includes in vitro, in vivo or ex vivo biomedical research across pharmacodynamics, pharmacokinetics, animal studies, microbiologic and human biological samples (biomarkers, diagnostic assays). Requests for non-clinical research can be made via the AstraZeneca Open Innovation portal.
