In 2026, we were recognised among TIME’s World's Most Sustainable Companies for the third consecutive year and among the top three in pharma. This builds on the triple TIME Magazine recognitions World's Most Sustainable Companies, World's Best Companies in Sustainable Growth and World's Best Companies achieved in 2025 and 2024.
Newsweek’s World’s Greenest Companies
In 2025 and 2026, Newsweek recognised AstraZeneca as one of the World’s Greenest Companies, awarding the highest 5-star rating for environmental stewardship.
Sustainability Magazine
Secured a top five ranking in Sustainability Magazine’s Top 250 Companies in Sustainability. In addition, Pam Cheng, our Chief Sustainability Officer, was among the top 5 Top 250 Sustainability Leaders, which recognises those driving impact on sustainability.
Financial Times’ ‘Europe’s Climate Leaders’
For the sixth year running, listed as a European Climate Leader, also ranked first among pharmaceutical companies, based on total reduction of core Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions and emissions intensity over a five-year period (2019-2024 for the 2026 list), as well as climate-related commitments.
